The first time i stepped into this new underwater world was when i was on a trip to the Dominican Republic
and did a try dive in a swimming pool where there was a diving instructor who let tourists to do a test dive.
I was hooked immediately and took my PADI Open Water certificate in the wonderful sea around Dominican Republic.
It whent a couple of years, I fled Sweden for a while and ended up in Tenerife for 6 months
where i took care of an internet cafe which was next door to a diving company named Wreck n Reef were
i meet new good friends and i was able to dive for free and there i also took my PADI Advanced Open Water
certificate.
After several years again i moved down to Koh Chang in Thailand where i met Marc Roderiguez at
The Dive Adventure and
under his wings i took the Emergency First Response, PADI Rescue Diver and then the Padi Divemaster Certificate.
I started working for Marc as a divemaster and i have never known the freedom that i felt then, my office was the sea!
After a while, I started up an Underwater photography company called Oakleydiver.com
with my friend Nicklas and we had a really good collaboration with Marc's company The Dive.
Marie my current girlfriend and now fiancee came down to Thailand along with her friend Karin to do
a school project, Marie and Karin did some Padi Courses with me and Nicklas where they studied and took
the PADI Advanced Open Water and PADI underwater photography Certificate.
I immediately became hopelessly in love with Marie and felt I had to leave my good friend Nicklas and
the newly started company and move back to Uppsala again.
Since then, i live with Marie and my daughter in Uppsala, Marie and i have repeatedly traveled and dived since then.
Marie is now a Rescuediver.
